On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December, in Barga’s Piazza Pascoli the event “Christmas in the Square” organised by Barga’s Pro Loco will take place. During the event there will be many entertaining activities for both children and adults. On Saturday 18 at 3pm the event will begin with the first part of the Sem Fuego’s hypnotism and fakir tricks show. The second part will take place at 4.30pm, after the Gospel Choir concert (at 3.30pm and 5pm) and the Itinerant Stilt Walker. These shows will be flanked by the Christmas craft market, where will be a stand of the F.lli Pieroni Catering Institute’s students too. For the younger participants, there will be a face painting stand!
Sunday 19 will be entirely dedicated to children: Santa Claus, flanked by alpacas, will receive children’s letters and give each one of them a present! Moreover, the association Smaskerando will organise many games, balloon activities and face painting! On Sunday, you will also be able to take a stroll through the craft market; there you will be able to admire many handmade objects and look for last-minute Christmas gifts.
